Worship is central to our life together as a community of faith. The proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ through Word and Sacrament is the source of our strength and renewal. Through worship we build up our relationships with each other and our mission to others. Outstanding preaching has been a strong emphasis of this congregation throughout our history.
Music also occupies an important place in our worship. We believe that through worship we affirm the power, the glory, and the mystery of God. A professional choir and a recently rebuilt organ that has received national acclaim lead the congregation each week in the music of worship. We worship at 11:00 a.m. each Sunday. From September through May, worship is preceded by the Adult Forum and Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. A nursery is available each Sunday.
