Music and arts are a vital part of the life of The First Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia. A talented choir leads our congregation in singing and provides inspirational anthems each Sunday. The choir’s music is specially selected to enhance the spiritual journey of all of our members throughout the liturgical year. The Service of Lessons and Carols during the Advent Season is a highlight of season for many. Our recently rebuilt Reuter organ has received national acclaim. Organ recitals and concerts by other instrumental and choral groups are offered to the community throughout the year. From time to time drama productions are also presented. The Worship and Arts Committee leads this important, stimulating effort.
