The Christian Education Committee commits to equip and nurture our congregation to be disciples of Jesus Christ in a lifelong journey of learning as our covenant with God.
We are committed to a strong Christian education program that stimulates, informs and excites those who participate. Programs are offered for all ages. From September though May the Adult Forum meets at 9:45 a.m. and the Sunday School meets at 10:00 a.m. The annual Cochran Lecture presents a well-known speaker on a timely topic. The featured scholar offers his or her views on a pre-announced topic and opens the floor to questions. Past speakers have included: George Hunsinger, Paul Vallas, Arthur Caplan, Jonathan Moreno, and Kai Bird. Weeknight and luncheon Bible Studies and studies of seasonal topics are offered throughout the year. During Lent a light supper and a vesper service are part of the study program.
